About Michael

Before we embark on our journey, I would like to share a little about myself. I live in Phoenix, Arizona where I’ve been an entrepreneur for 18 years as the CEO of a consulting and SaaS Internet firm, and a husband, father, aspiring pro golfer, “pay it forward” believer, and fashionista. But most of all I am a GRINDER, which I believe is key to my life.

I grew up in a small rural town in southern New Mexico where my first-generation American parents pushed us, believed in us, and gave us the relentless spirit of GRINDING IT OUT. My Dad’s mantra was simple, DON’T WHINE OR COMPLAIN – NO ONE CARES. GET IT DONE.

My purpose for creating a podcast and this website is simple – share the word that success is out there for all of us; that there is a magnificent life for all of us no matter our definition of what a magnificent life is. But the secret to it all is GRINDING IT OUT each day, separating you from those who live their lives in quiet desperation; those who are not living their life fully.

I have personally endured financial crises: loss of vision in my right eye, a brutal divorce that cost me time with my son, business failures, and the loss of people I loved. My GRINDING IT OUT mindset is what has gotten me through the times I didn’t think I could even get out of bed.

My question to you – Are you living in quiet desperation? Are you just going through the motions, letting life take you like the wind, letting others decide what happens to you, and not directing the motion picture of your life?

Les Brown, one of our great motivational speakers, has an analogy – Imagine that you are on your deathbed, and around you are the ghosts of the unfilled potential you had, the ideas you had but didn’t execute, the talents unused, and the voice you had to change lives. They are all standing around you, angrily telling you that they came to you and you ignored them, and now they must die with you. How many ghosts will surround your bed when you die?
